The super bright flash setting certainly gets the attention of other road users - when it's used in the daytime drivers pass me much wider than when it's not on. I wish it were a bit longer in length too. It charges quickly & when used wisely, the charge lasts ages before needing another charge.
The stretchy rubber securing band should be more supportive - it works ok, but it's not always easy to adjust it to get a good fit. I understand that some seat post angles are different, but there is no angle at all built into it.įor the amount these lights cost there should be more choices available, like road, MTB, children's bikes etc etc.Īs for the wide angle light visibility, that is quite an exaggeration!! Instead of having to awkwardly sandwich the seperate rubber wedge in between the light unit & the seat post, just to get an outward pointing beam for the light direction to point in has been over thought imho. The tiny rubb er shoe supplied with it will inevitably get lost at some point or fall out if you're not careful, as it has done several times already when used on the trail.not on the mountain, just on the Taff Trail. The rear part of the light unit could easily be redesigned to better fit the majority of seat posts. It's well made & waterproof(so far) but poorly designed - it's obviously meant to attach to the seat post, so why not make it a better fit?
